Our Beef Standard


	KOL Foods deli is cooked, spiced and sliced but we left out the nitrates so it's guilt free. And since we only source 100% grass-fed beef and lamb we make the most delicious and nutritious deli meat possible. You will notice that our deli products are not red in color; this is the small price we have to pay for the lack of nitrates. At KOL Foods, we know our farmers and tell you the story of their animals. We are committed to transparency, sustainability, animal welfare, your health and offering the most delicious meat on the market! All KOL Foods products are glatt kosher and are certified by the OU. Our poultry is under the OU and CHK. The heckshers are found on the butcher's label on the back of each package. 1 drumstick per vacuum pack, roasted, bone-in, no nitrates or nitrites added, 100% natural, gluten-free

Ingredients: turkey drumstick, tarragon, sage, thyme, salt, pepper.

To prepare: serve cold or remove from plastic, place in 325 degree oven for about 15-20 minutes.

Ground Beef

Our 100% pure and simple ground meat comes from 100% grass-fed and finished glatt kosher beef, and makes for the perfect burger at your summer barbecue or kreplach in your bubbie’s soup.

Each case contains vacuum packs of 85% lean ground beef weighing approximately 1lb each on average.

Hamburger vs Ground

According to the USDA, the only difference is the fat. Hamburger can contain subcutaneous fat and various trimmings that have been exposed to the environment of the packinghouse and are thus susceptible to contamination. And it may have been treated with ammonia hydroxide gas to destroy pathogens. This is why we only do ground beef.
