Normal Summer shipping days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday only. Please note that over the Holiday, shipping might be held to arrive on a day that is permitted.
It is important to note that because we expedite your orders by shipping FedEx, we cannot ship to P.O. Box addresses. Weather and Federal holidays may change delivery availability. All orders are subject to availability of product.
Receiving Order Emails: It is important that you allow emails from KOL Foods. After you place your order you will receive an order confirmation email with an order number. Please review it thoroughly. If there are any changes that you would like to make, email us immediately. We will do our best to make desired changes, however, it may not always be possible. Be sure to check your spam folder if you did not receive it within a few minutes. If it's not in your inbox or spam folder, something may have gone wrong with your order; please contact us.
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping notification email with a FedEx tracking number. You can use this tracking number to watch your package's progress to your door.
When do we ship: Our products are perishable and require special handling. Our normal shipping days between the 2nd or 3rd week in March and the 2nd or 3rd week in September for next day, overnight and ground (to the NY-DC/NOVA region only) are Monday through Thursday. For 2 day shipping or other ground locations, we ship Monday through Wednesday. Between the end of September and the beginning of March, we only ship Monday through Wednesday. Orders placed outside of our shipping days will be shipped on the following Monday unless you request otherwise.
Generally speaking, if you place an order before noon (eastern time) on a day that we ship, your order will go out the same day. An order placed between noon and 4PM (eastern time) might ship the same day or be held to the following day that we ship. An order placed after 4 PM (eastern time) will go out the following day that we ship. You will receive an email with a FedEx tracking number for you to plan for its arrival.
Special shipping requests: If you have any special requests for FedEx or for our shipping department, you must make a note in the comments box during checkout. Additionally, we recommend that you email us with any requests for our shipping department to confirm that it is on our radar. We will do our best to meet all of your requests, however, this is not always possible. Additionally, keep in mind that FedEx is an independent company that is out of our control.
All orders are shipped signature release: No signature is required unless you live in a multi-unit building, then a signature will be required. This means, if no one is there to receive the order from our carrier the driver will leave the order at your door. This signifies acceptance of the order the same as a signature. We recommend that someone be there within the designated time frame to accept the order and properly refrigerate it (although product will stay frozen after delivery for up to 8 hours). We will e-mail you the carrier tracking number when your order is shipped which will allow you to monitor the delivery of your order.
If this is a gift, please be sure to alert the recipient that something perishable will be delivered via FedEx.

Orders can be cancelled if they have not been shipped out of our facility. Once an order leaves our facility, we cannot call it back. If you will to cancel, it is best to call and email for confirmation. Cancellations could be subject to a $25 restocking fee. Unfortunately we cannot accept returns as we cannot resell products after they have left our facility.

To figure out all your shipping rates, please populate your shopping cart with the items you would like. Then go to your shopping cart and click on "Calculate Shipping" (large purple button on the upper left).

Shipping is what FedEx charges us to ship your items.
Surcharge is what it cost of the cooler, dry ice, other packing materials and labor. All orders of 5 items or more have no surcharge. Our surcharges are currently: 1 item $12, 2 items $10, 3 items $8, 4 items $6, 5+ items $0.
Insurance: we do not insure all shipments. Ground is only insured for damage (spoilage not included), 2-day and overnight are fully insured.
Large Orders
For orders greater than 120 lbs, please place multiple orders. For orders greater than 24 items, please place multiple orders.

If you are placing a very large order (orders with large quantities of one or more items), please allow up to 30 days for us to fulfill the order after it is placed online. This is especially important during any holiday.
