Silver Tip Roast

Roaming around grassy pastures, our cattle exercise their muscles, giving our silver tip roast its intense flavor. Our silver tip roasts come from 100% grass-fed and finished glatt kosher beef, and are best suited to slow braises that create fork-tender, intoxicatingly flavorful meat. The farmers we partner with raise cattle organically and sustainably, producing delicious meat that is healthier, more ethical, and more environmentally friendly than conventionally raised meat. 	Ground Beef   Our 100% pure and simple ground meat comes from 100% grass-fed and finished glatt kosher beef, and makes for the perfect burger at your summer barbecue or kreplach in your bubbie’s soup. Each case contains vacuum packs of 85% lean ground beef weighing approximately 1lb each on average. Hamburger vs Ground According to the USDA, the only difference is the fat.  Hamburger can contain subcutaneous fat and various trimmings that have been exposed to the environment of the packinghouse and are thus susceptible to contamination.  And it may have been treated with ammonia hydroxide gas to destroy pathogens.  This is why we only do ground beef.
